A Love Story | norhtwest Arkansas Couple Session

Sunday, May 10, 2015

 I love love.
I really, really do.
I love it so much that I started offering Love Sessions
and this adorable couple were one of the first people
to book a session.

Here are a few of the images from their fun session.
These were all taken at my new studio.  :)

Sweet Little Peanut | Northwest Arkansas Newborn Photographer

Thursday, February 24, 2011

Aww, this little guy put up SUCH a fight in the beginning, but he soon fell asleep and did so very well.

His mom told me he was strong willed and that was the complete truth!

I had to pull out all of the tricks, but it was so worth it.

I loved the way he held his little mouth while sleeping.

SO adorable.

Sweet Little Girl | Northwest Arkansas Baby Photographer

Wednesday, January 5, 2011

This sweet girl was such an adorable little thing!! She was obsessed with her tongue, had plenty of smiles, and caused lots of giggles as her aunt, grandma, and I tried to keep her sitting.  She was new to the sitting game and kept tumbling over while giving huge grins.  It was incredibly funny.

Since these were a Christmas present to her mom, I've been patiently waiting to show them off until after I knew the gift was received. So, here they are!! :)

See?   Tongue obsessed. :)

And finally, success!!  We got her sitting, looking at the camera, and being utterly adorable.  This is one of my favorite baby photos of 2010.  I love it. :)

So, so adorable!!  I just wanted to tickle her all day.

Can 2010 really be coming to a close?  I can't believe it, but it is true.

So many things happened this year.  My oldest daughter started Kindergarten.  My son picked up the guitar.  The baby took her first steps.  I turned the big three oh.  Many changes for both my family and my business.

It's been a good year.

Here are a few collages of the amazing clients I had this year.  I can't wait to see what will happen next year!!

Views from my Back Porch | Northwest Arkansas Photographer

Tuesday, December 21, 2010

Here are some more of the absolutely gorgeous sunsets that I get to enjoy from my back porch.  I absolutely love all the comments and emails I've been getting about these.   They are a pleasure to take and I am getting a big kick out of sharing them all with you.  :)

This one is actually old.  It was taken during the last snow of the year.  I'm really hoping to be able to get another really great snowfall photo again this year.  Just waiting on the snow!

This odd candle holder came with the house. It has its own little charm.

This one might just be my favorite of all the back porch view photos. It was taken the week before last and I can't get over it. It makes me oh so happy!!!

Yesterday was bittersweet.  It marked a year since my sweet little Aryah came into our lives a little bit earlier than expected.  How can a year have already flown by?  It really doesn't seem possible that the tiny little baby that we brought home weighing only 4lbs 5ozs is now a one year old.  That she now cruises the furniture, crawls like greased lightening, or waves bye bye.  She is still not walking, and she is still small for her age, but she is such a bright part of our family.

Here she is for her first official photo session with daddy:

And here are a few from yesterday's session with her first cupcake of her very own.

She didn't really know what to think of the icing

But she liked the candle.

Mmmm, maybe icing is okay after all.

Oh, sweet, sweet little baby. You are so precious to me!

I put out s very short notice call on facebook  for a potential model to come and help me test some things out.  I got lucky because Bailey couldn't have been a better model.  Totally patient with me and laughed and all my dorky quirks.  It was great.  I'm looking forward to when we do a real session with her.  But until then, here is what we got:
