This little guy's mommy contacted me when he was a five weeks old, so he was so much more alert than a typical newborn. I explained that we probably wouldn't get the super sleepy, curly shots of a baby ten days or younger, but that we would still have a fun time.
And we did. :) We got some adorable shots of him by himself, but, for me, it is the family shots that steal the show!
Squirmy? Yep. At times. ;)

And this one was a sort of outtake, but I couldn't resist the light, plus I love watching couples as they figure out that awkward dance that is 'Exchanging the Baby.'
I really love this more relaxed, lifestyle approach to a slightly older baby session. Be on the look out for a future casting call
so I can try out a few ideas I have in my head!
