Summer is now at an end for us.
Three of four kids are in school this year.
That's an insane feeling, one that I'm still not entirely used to.

Before school started, I took some family photos of my sister's family.
It was loud and crazy and oh so fun, just like them.
Gorgeous, huh?

We went over to her house for a impromptu Sunday bbq the day before school started
to let the kiddos have one last summer play date.
I told her that I wanted her to take a photo of my family.
(Well, most of my family because Blaze wasn't with us, but he will be with us when we have portraits taken by
Kate later this fall.)

I took some test shots to get the settings for her, posed everyone, then ran over to join
and let Autumn snap away.

She did great, right? I love this.
I can't wait to get this on my wall
and I can't wait to have the entire family in front of the camera, too!
